Meet Laura.

I am a learning specialist, serving students in Fairfield County and Westchester, with more than 15 years of experience.  I support students with one-on-one tutoring, small group sessions, and enrichment.  

I believe that with a joyful, engaging, methodical, and data-driven approach, all children can meet their potential.  I start out by identifying areas of interest, strengths, and gaps in student skills and learning, and then go on to create a tailored learning plan with curricular supports that best match your child’s learning style and needs.  I believe that communication and partnership with families and schools are key.  Parents will be updated regularly about their child’s progress and milestones achieved. 

Communication and collaboration with the child’s teacher are encouraged, ensuring that work inside and outside of school complement each other.
